Dear friend,
Financial independence is a reality for those who want it but there are certain traits you must develop that will enhance your journey to financial freedom.
There are two reasons why people don’t become rich. First, thy never arrive at a decision to get rich. They wish, hope, and pray but they never make a firm, unequivocal decision that they are going to become wealthy.
Second, even if they do decide to become wealthy, they procrastinate untill it is tool late. Procrastination is a killer of time, initiative, and destiny.
If you truly want to become wealthy and have no more money problem, then there are “four D keys” you need to sort out.
Desire: You must really desire wealth. You must want financial success badly enough to make an unshakable commitment to achieve it. What are you willing to give up in return for the kind of lifestyle you want? You must be willing to sacrifice now in order to enjoy financial independence in the nearest future. You must be willing to practice delayed gratification. Don’t buy that new car, house, jewelery, or cloth now, rather choose to save and invest that money in income generating assets. There is no limit to what you can accomplish in life as long as you have a burning desire for that particular thing. If you want it badly enough, you will definitely achieve it.
Decision: It is in the moment of our decision that our destinies are made. You should have heard me saying it over and over again that decision determines destiny. You must make a solid decision right now to do whatever is necessary to become wealthy. You must be willing to pay any price and go the extra mile to achieve the goals you set for yourself financially.
Determination: To succeed in life requires a rugged mind. Circumstances might not be favorable. Obstacles and problems will definitely come your way but in-spite all odds you must resolve to persist untill you succeed.
No matter how many times you get knocked down, you must be prepared to pick yourself up and continue your journey towards financial independence. The ability to persist and a determined mind are perhaps the most important qualities necessary for financial and personal success.
Discipline: You must make yourself do whatever it is that will draw you closer to your goal on a consistent basis. You must be disciplined enough to develop the millionaire habits necessary for achieving your financial goals. You must discipline yourself to spend less, save, invest, get up a little earlier, go the extra mile, and burn the midnight candle when the need arises.
You must discipline yourself to learn and go for financial/money management seminars instead of attending parties. Inspite of all the obstacles that might come your way, you have to be resolute and develop the discipline of staying focused on your financial goal
I need you on a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being the lowest and 10 being the highest, rate and measure yourself on how well you are doing in each of these four qualities. You can improve on a quality by practicing it when the need arises. Each time you exercise a discipline, your other disciplines become stronger.
Cheers
